A special edition of Ranger FX4 is being brought to Philippines market.
Ford is now offering a new model to the customers located in the Philippines. The local pickup offer is being refreshed with a special edition of the Ranger FX4 model. It provides the car with a dominant dark theme on both outside and inside.
On the outside, the thing that gets into the eye straight away is the black grill with mesh pattern and the blacked-out foglight housings. The wheels are threatening 18” big alloys, and they also come painted in black, as well as the new sport bars.
As for the inside, the cabin comes with the dark treatment as well. Claimed by Ford, the new Ranger FX4 has a unique interior finish. The leather seats inside the car will come with the FX4 logos embodied.
Of course, being a pickup, Ranger FX4 needs some power. When it comes to this part of the car, people from Ford left no doubts about the question if the vehicle will not be strong enough. There will be a 2.2-liter Duratorq turbo-diesel engine under the hood. All the versions will come with this engine that is able to generate 160 PS and 385 Nm of torque. The new Ranger FX4 will be available only as a 4×2 pickup. As for the transmission, the buyers will be able to choose between a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic.
Aluminum Metallic, Jet Black, Cool White and Meteor Gray are the colors offered by Ford for this special edition FX4. Any Filipino wishing to buy a Ranger FX4 will have to pay 1,299,000 PhP (≈27,000 US dollars) for the manual transmission, or 1,359,000 PhP (≈$28,000) for the automatic gearbox equipped models.
