Rams were the heavy underdogs going into this game. They lost easily in San Francisco last week, and it was a terrible showing for Fisher’s squad. But, in Week 2, they have pulled a huge upset against their rivals, the Seattle Seahawks.
Los Angeles has waited for a long time to have an NFL team and to have a chance to see them live in action. But, they are finally there, and the fans have an opportunity to enjoy in good NFL action.
And their team won against all the odds. Their defense looks great. Yes, it was against shook up Russell Wilson who is dealing with an ankle injury, but still nobody really gave a chance to this team. Their offense was just putrid against San Francisco.
Holding Seattle to only three points is no small feat. Although their offense needs to improve, it looks like defense part of the team is capable of winning them some games like they have done.
Seattle needs to answer some questions in coming weeks, but they are still in a good position in their division as all teams are now tied at 1-1.
Rams should feel good about themselves after this Week 2 win, but if they want to be a serious Playoff contender, their offense needs to step up. Today, they took some baby steps in achieving that.
