Most of us prefer to match socks, wardrobe or shoes together, but when it comes to die-hard car enthusiasts, they like to match their vehicles with their accessories like RV’s and such. Ram anticipated that, and now they offer a two-tone paint job on the 2017 Ram 1500, 2500, and 3500 Laramie Longhorn models where customers now get new RV Match Brown two-tone paint which is a shade of color that is all so popular with the RV traveler trailers.
Apparently, this new hue replaces White Gold in the available palette, and the dark color joins the lineup in the second quarter of 2017. But what must be admitted is that this shade of color looks fantastic, with this brown hue outlining the bottom edge of the pickup. The rest of the truck can be painted in Black Forest Green, Bright Silver, Bright White, Brilliant Black Crystal, Delmonico Red, Maximum Steel, Pearl White and True Blue.
This is done mostly to aid customers at matching their truck to practically any trailer. But Ram will give you a little more in the same paint-job package, and that includes a set of 20 inch polished aluminum wheels with brown pockets, while the Ram 3500 with dual rear wheels will have polished wheels with Laramie Longhorn center caps.
This is not all as the car maker also has a few other upgrades up their sleeve, especially for 2017 trucks in Laramie Longhorn trim. These include the front end that now features a chrome billet port grille with Ram lettering, while the 1500 Laramie Longhorn will get standard Keyless Go, active high beam headlights, and rain-sensing wipers.
On the other hand, the 2500 and 3500 in the Laramie, Laramie Longhorn, and Limited trims will now get the 6.4-liter V8 unit as standard. If you think that Ram has forgotten the interior of their trucks, then you are wrong. They offer a luxurious trim with a choice of Cattle Tan or Canyon Brown leather upholstery with Walnut Burl trim, and amenities such as heated and cooled front seats, and warmed benches at the back.
