Philadelphia Eagles are sinking really quickly. They were off to a flying 3-0 start. They have handled the Steelers with ease in that Week 3 before their bye week. Well, the things haven’t gone exactly how they wanted after that great start to the season. They are now 5-6, with no shot at catching the Cowboys or Giants in their division.
On the other hand, we have this Cincinnati team that has struggled just as much as the Eagles did in the past couple of games. Their best player is AJ Green who is done for the season after suffering a hamstring injury in Week 11. Andy Dalton’s favorite weapon is gone and so are Bengals’ Playoff dreams. Maybe even Marwin Lewis will be gone at the end of the season.
Carson Wentz has had a rough ride throughout October and November. His weapons are just not good enough, Eagles’ running game is pretty bad and almost doesn’t exist while the o-line is banged up and is leaving Wentz dry. He needed to escape from the pocket and run the ball himself too many times in a duel against a below-average Packers defense.
That says a lot about the Eagles and how they have been playing as of late. Bengals are a better all-around team plus the game is played on their home turf in the Jungle, and that is why we are going to pick them to win this match. Their defense will step up, Dalton will make all the plays and Cincy will finish this one 27:17.
