WWE is in the middle of their build for the Summerslam. They are trying to fit in their plans for the biggest show of the summer that is going to take place in three weeks. Monday Night Raw had their plans set for the Brooklyn, but it seems that they might need to change some things that they wanted to do at Summerslam. Women’s Championship match might look a little bit different than the WWE officials wanted to.
There were some rumors that Bayley was injured during this past edition of Monday Night Raw. She had a match with Nia Jax and appeared to favor her shoulder. Nothing was officially confirmed until today when WWE announced that Bayley indeed suffered a shoulder injury on Raw. Here is what they wrote on their official website.
“We’ve determined the injury is shoulder-related, and she will be going under further diagnostic testing later this week to determine the extent of the injury and also establish a timetable for recovery.”
It was planned for Bayley to be the one to challenge Alexa Bliss at Summerslam for the Raw Women’s Championship, but the company might be forced to go in the other direction. They will evaluate Bayley over the next couple of days in order to determine whether or not she will be ready to compete at the biggest show of the summer. “Everything just tensed up around it. I’ve never had an injury like this before, so I can’t really know what it is. I guess we’re gonna see.”
