Oakland Raiders had a great chance to take over the lead in AFC West with the win over the Kansas City Chiefs. They failed to do that as they lost in a convincing fashion. Luckily for them, they will have a shot at redemption this week as they will visit the Jaguars in Jacksonville.
Jaguars are somehow winning some games. They have escaped from London with the win over the Colts. They have also survived Chicago as they stole one from the Bears. Now, they are sitting at 2-3 with two victories in a row. You just can’t trust Blake Bortles to deliver on a constant basis, but you can trust him this round as he will be going up against Raiders defense.
Oakland has been playing against weaker defenses, and they were able to put up a ton of points. But, Chiefs are not a bad squad, and they were able to slow them down. When teams do that, they know that Raiders defense is bad and can put up some points. Still, this offense is elite and can score a lot of points in any match and pretty much against any defense. Jags D-line is no better than Oakland’s, and Derek Carr should have a good time on Sunday.
We just don’t trust Bortles and his Jaguars. They are playing on their home turf, but Raiders will be ready to bounce back, and Jacksonville is just the perfect opponent for them. Raiders should win this game 35:24 behind Amari Cooper’s and Derek Carr’s big games.
