Smackdown Live and Monday Night Raw go live every single week, and we never know what is going to happen in the next episode. On the other hand, NXT is always taped, and it is airing every single Wednesday on the WWE Network. They are recording multiple episodes at the same time, and the spoilers are usually revealed.
The most interesting thing coming out of the phenomenal show that was NXT Takeover Chicago was Tommaso Ciampa‘s attack on his partner Johnny Gargano. Do It Yourself team doesn’t exist anymore, and it is still hard to believe that Triple H decided that this is the time to split up these two guys. It did happen, and everybody is waiting for the explanation. Well, if you don’t want to get any spoilers, you should exit the article right now.
If you can’t wait for Wednesday to see what happened, we are going to help you with that. When somebody makes a heel turn, you need to make sense of it. NXT did just that with Tommaso Ciampa as he went out and asked Gargano to join him in the ring, but he was not at the show. He went on to explain that it was revealed that he got injured before the title match on Saturday and that he is going to be out for a while.
Ciampa was afraid that Gargano would take over and be more popular than him while he is out with the injury and this guy wanted to stop that right away. That is why he attacked his partner, and he was more than proud of what he did. It is an original way to explain this situation, and the writers did a great job with making sense of this situation. But, we still don’t know when will Ciampa or Gargano return.
