World’s number one Novak Djokovic and friends held a humanitarian fundraiser in Milan with a goal to collect funds to finance the education of the kids in Serbia.
Djokovic Foundation is holding these fundraisers every year in September which is almost the only time during the year when he can take a break from tennis. And we know how busy the schedule is getting for these top players.
When a fundraiser is held by someone as famous and successful as Novak Djokovic certainly is, the lot of other influential and wealthy people are going to show up.
Together with Novak Djokovic and his wife Jelena other celebrities that attended the fundraiser were from the world of tennis and Milan fashion industry.
Some of the most notable were Italian fashion guru Georgio Armani, 22 times grand slam winner Serena Williams, Vogue editor Anna Wintour, supermodel Georgia Fowler, tennis star Rafael Nadal who is Djokovic rival but also a friend.
Besides the above-mentioned, the Gala was attended by the likes of Johanna Hauksdottir, Fabio Volo, Roberta Armani, Camila Wisniewski, Flavia Pennetta and others.
Everything at the Gala went according to plan, without any tensions, and Novak and Jelena proved themselves once again as excellent hosts. They spent entire night chatting and posing with their guests and friends. As it is trend, lot of photos were taken, but everybody, in general, looked more than ready to take selfies with guests and one with another.
And as it always is the case when Novak Djokovic is in the main role, the fundraiser was very cheerful, with a lot of jokes and as Novak sometimes does – singing.
