Nokia Corporation (ADR) (NYSE:NOK) (BIT: NOK1V) (HEL:NOK1V)’s supposedly new handset pictures has seeped online, courtesy @evleaks. According to the speculators it might be Asha 504. The dual-SIM phone has been shown in the picture with Tweet reading “What Is This Thing? dual SIM edition.”
Asha 504 may be Nokia X
Recently, Nokia launched a trio of Asha phones namely Asha 500, 502 and 503, and the dual SIM phone (504) seems to be the latest offering from the company. Reportedly, this dual SIM phone has some look changes like the bezel, which looks different from its predecessors and the screen is somewhere between 3.2 inches and 3.5 inches. Also, one can use the Bing as a search engine on the phone.
More information on this particular device might be released later this month at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2014, when Nokia is expected to announce more smartphones.
It is not clear that the phone appeared in the picture is Normandy or Nokia X, but the design and User Interface are more towards Nokia X, which strengthens the possibility of the phone being an Asha series. If the phone in the picture is Asha 504, then slightly better features and specifications are expected compared to Asha 503, which is priced at INR 6,688 and the phone has a 3-inch LED display powered by dual SIM (GSM+GSM) with dual standby mode along with Nokia’s Easy Swap technology.

Nokia may also release Normandy at MWC
In the upcoming MWC, the Finnish phone maker is likely to launch Normandy phone, which is reportedly an Android based phone.
Expected specification of the phone includes a four-inch display, Qualcomm 1GHz dual-core Snapdragon 200 processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, and a microSD card slot. It is expected to run on Android 4.4 and have a 5 megapixel snapper. According to Kevin C. Tofel of Giga Om “The dual-SIM support and relatively meagre hardware further support my thought that the Normandy will supplant Nokia’s Asha line of entry-level smartphones.”
