3Get production out of their rookie class
Since we didn’t see Jaylon Smith on the field in 2016, we can add him to the list of rookies that need to step up in this season and show a lot. Smith was very good at Notre Dame, but he seriously hurt his knee and many thought of it as a career-ending injury. If this man returns to the game and shows his potential, Cowboys will have a lot to celebrate.
Other than Jaylon, few other rookie players will get their chance, and those are defensive end Taco Charlton that was picked in the first round, cornerback Chidobe Awuzie second-round pick, and third-round pick cornerback Jourdan Lewis.
