Just like the AFC Playoff Picture, NFC’s is now set after 17 weeks of football. We had to wait for the final round of the regular season to see who is going to make it, but now we know and are ready for some Playoff action.
Dallas Cowboys and Atlanta Falcons will have a bye week during the Wild Card Weekend. Dallas secured a home field advantage over 10 days ago with Giants loss on Thursday Night Football, finishing 13-3 while the Falcons anchored their second seed yesterday with a win over Saints, finishing 11-5.
New York Giants vs. Green Bay Packers – The Packers didn’t host a Playoff game last year as they went to Washington and Arizona in the postseason. This time around, they will host a Wild Card match against the Giants.
This is probably the most interesting duel of the Wild Card Weekend and most likely the best matchup that we have in the first week of the postseason. The NFL NFC Wild Card Round will take place on Sunday, January 8, 10:40 PM ET at Lambeau Field, Green Bay, Wisconsin.
Detriot Lions vs. Seattle Seahawks – The Seahawks wanted to have a bye week while the Lions had the chance to host a Playoff game. Those things are not going to happen as Seattle failed to secure the 2nd seed in the NFC while the Lions failed to capture the NFC North crown on Sunday against the Packers.
Seattle is clearly favored in this one, but this is going to be a good matchup. This NFL NFC Wild Card Round that will take place on Sunday, January 8, 2:15 AM ET at CenturyLink Field, Seattle, Washington.
