Cleveland Browns have had a good week as they have beaten the Pittsburgh Steelers while their rookie Kizer has been pretty good while throwing the ball against the Steelers. He has thrown for 184 yards and a touchdown in Brown’s 20:12 win. Now, he is going to continue to battle for a spot on the depth chart against a much better defensive team of New York Giants. They will be playing some of their starters, which is going to be a great test for all Cleveland’s quarterbacks.
Speaking of them, Brock Osweiler and Cody Kessler have a lot to prove to Hue Jackson. Kizer has impressed in Week 1 of the Preseason, which is going to put a lot of pressure on other guys to perform. The thing to watch for the Browns is going to be which of these QBs will take another step forward. Also, the improvement of the defense is another goal of theirs.
Eli Manning has sat out Gaints’ first Preseason contest, but he is going to be available at the start of this game. Usually, in Week 2, coaches are starting to play their first team guys in the Preseason and Ben McAdoo is going to do the same thing for New York.
Their offensive line has had some troubles in Week 1, and that is something that the Giants will be looking to improve in this game. Elli has been a little rusty. Good performance here against the Browns is going to do a lot for his confidence going forward.
We are going to pick the New York Football Giants to win this match in Cleveland. This is the only duel on Monday, which means that there will be a lot of people watching. Giants are going to win this one 17:10. It can go either way, of course, but New York’s defense is going to be something that Cleveland will not be able to match.
