Since Charlotte moved over to the Smackdown Live and the Wrestlemania championship fatal four-way match was over, it was time to name the new number one contender for the Women’s Championship. On this week’s edition of Monday Night Raw, we had the chance to see the new challenger for Bayley’s title.
It was another fatal four-way in the Women’s division on the red brand, but this time, it was for the number one contender spot. Nia Jax, Alexa Bliss, Sasha Banks, and Mickie James. It was a bit weird to see Emma out of this match, but this can mean that she might be feuding with Dana Brooke going forward.
Since Bayley is the babyface champion, a heel was going to win this duel. It is too early for Sasha to turn heel on Bayley and the WWE is probably going to save this match for the Summerslam PPV in August. The number one favorite was Nia Jax, but at the end of the night, Alexa Bliss was the one standing tall.
She just came over from being in the title picture on Smackdown Live, and she is going to be right back in the title hunt yet again, but this time, it is going to be on the red brand. Even though we think that Sasha as a heel is going to be the one to take the title off of the Hugger, this has the potential to be a great feud as Alexa Bliss has developed her character very well and is one of the most interesting superstars on both rosters.
