They will be playing against the Los Angeles Clippers, the best team in the Western Conference right now. Doc Rivers’ squad has lost only one game so far, and it was against this Thunder team in LA. Can they avenge that loss?
Russell Westbrook will be in the MVP Conversation all season long, and there is no doubt about that. He is playing some great basketball while recording monster numbers that will help him when it’s time to pick the NBA MVP title. Thunder’s are playing a good, exciting brand of basketball and are always one of the most interesting teams to watch.
So are the Clippers. They are getting the job done as a team. LA is much deeper than it was in the past and it shows. Blake Griffin and Chris Paul are doing what they need to do as leaders of this squad, but their great start is a total team effort. Guys are contributing, stepping up, and doing everything on both sides of the court.
Clippers only loss came on their home floor against the Thunder. OKC stole one from the Staples Center as they escaped with 85:83 win. Now, Clippers will be looking to get one back in Oklahoma City and revenge that loss.
