Tesla Model S details

Tesla Motors Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA) Model S is an all-electric car, and its motor is something the company could boast about as it does not come with a regular internal combustion engine with multiple moving parts. Between the rear wheels of the car, the Powertrain motor is fitted providing ‘instantaneous’ acceleration of about 100 kilometres per hour in as less as 5.6 seconds.

The car has the capability of achieving speeds as high as 190-210 kilometres per hour and in complete charge it can travel distances as long as 390 kilometres (Model S 60) and 502 kilometres (Model S 85 and P85). The car has a roof made of a panoramic safety glass that has the capability of blocking visible light up to 98% and heat up to 81%. By incurring certain extra costs, it is, also, possible to upgrade the car with added features that include leather interiors, parking sensors and ultra high fidelity sound.
