WWE announced that there is going to be a Superstar Shakeup this week on both Monday Night Raw and Smackdown Live. The stars are switching brands in order to give that fresh feel to the shows while new matchups and feuds are starting. A couple of Superstars have changed shows, and a couple more will do the same on Tuesday night.
On Raw, the first person to switch from the blue to the red brand is The Miz and his wife, Maryse. He again came down from the ramp in his John Cena gear with Maryse being dressed up as Maryse. There were rumors that The Miz could change brands and it actually happened. One of the best superstars that Smackdown Live had to offer is now going to work on Monday Nights.
There is no doubt that The Miz was one of the best superstars that Smackdown Live had to offer. He made the most of his opportunity with this brand split that happened last year and made a great run with the IC title while also being the best heel on his former show. Now, he is going to Raw, and it will be interesting to see how will they book him.
It looks like he is going to do his John Cena mocking thing going forward, but we still don’t know with whom is he going to feud with. It is a fresh start for the Miz, but many people will argue that he really didn’t need one and that he fits perfectly on Tuesday nights.
