Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) for those not familiar with the fact that it offers cloud services, the freebie that the blue-chip offers is a definite starting point. Considering the increased use of cloud storage facilities, the offer of 100GB of its proprietary OneDrive Cloud storage, nearly free of cost, is a winner.
Bing Rewards Program
The latest cloud storage offer will be part of Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) Bing Rewards program and will allow 100GB of storage on OneDrive for two full years. The offer for new sign-up will be extended to those already registered, the company has confirmed.
Technically, users are required to register themselves and accept the terms and conditions, which include emails from Microsoft with offers. Apparently, those who have begun to explore the option have found that, there is no more ‘strings attached’ to claim free 100 GB of cloud space on the official cloud store.
Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) will run the offer as part of the Bings Reward Program, which will include gaining credits for search on Bing as well as MSN. These credits could then qualify for use gift cards, donate charity as well as sweepstakes entries.
Apparently, there is more to the offer than what catches the eye.
Recently, close competitor, Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG), was found offering 2GB of free Cloud space, if users opted for security features. While Google Drive is one of the popular products for cloud storage, their offer does drive a hole in the cloud consumers’ size.
As most digital devices in use allow cloud backup feature, it has become imperative that one owns cloud storage space as well. Documents, photos or any other media, moving them to the cloud is beneficial, especially with tantalizing offers of 100GB by Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT). The least one has to worry about are the occasional spam mails from Microsoft.
