The story of Mafia III: Rivals is set in the fictional city New Bordeaux and this game will be not much different than the previous Mafia games. The goal for players is to gain reputation and progress up the rungs in the underworld. In order to do that, you need to assemble your own mafia syndicate and be better than your rivals. To keep influence and respect, you will constantly need to take weapons and cars from your rivals. Moreover, in the mobile version, you will be able to increase the level of your bosses and fight other players.
So far, there are no videos of the Mafia III: Rivals, so we don’t know how the game is going to look.
