Since the Madden 2018 has been announced everyone has been eagerly waiting to see who will be the next Madden cover athlete. The most of the hardcore fans have been jumping up and down continuously like that might speed up the process but jump no more as we have the news you have been so anxiously expecting. Dear fans, the next face of the Madden franchise is none other than Mr. Tom Brady.
That’s right boys and girls, you read correctly Tom Brady is getting the mass exposure he so really deserves, and Madden 18 will give it to him. But there is something else here, this will be the first time that EA will feature two members of the same team on back-to-back Madden covers. Apparently, Madden 18 will also feature New England Patriots tight-end Rob Gronkowski. Now, let’s concentrate on something else than the game’s cover. What does Madden 18 actually has to offer other than Tom Brady on the cover?
Apparently, this installment will be the first one that is powered by Frostbite engine which will, at least by EA claims, ensure a “significant visual leap” forward especially in the look department of players, crowds, and stadiums. But EA is not only about releasing the sequel because it looks great, no! EA and their Madden 18 will feature exclusive special edition pre-order bonuses which are bound to make some changes in the industry.
Apparently if you pre-order the standard version of the game you will be treated with five free Squad Packs and will be able to choose an Elite player to use for their Ultimate Team. Those who pre-order the G.O.A.T. Edition of the title will also have the ability to add one of five G.O.A.T. players to their Ultimate Team, although no actual goat is included with that version of the game, but it is highly expected that it will still be a tremendous value.
As far as the gameplay changes are concerned, we do not have any info on that because EA has decided to keep some of the goodies hush-hush at least for a while longer. But if any of the previous Maddens have thought us anything then it is to expect featured gameplay tweaks based on the skills of the game’s cover athlete. That can mean we could probably have a mode in which you try to bring your team to a Super Bowl following a four-game suspension for participating in a ball deflating scandal also known as Deflategate.
Right here we have the game’s first trailer for you and it in some reach shows Tom Brady in action as well as discovers some of the rises to fame or comeback story mode which is still unclear but feel free to look for yourself. Enjoy!
The release date is set for August 25th, and you will see it on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but as of now, we do not know if it will make it to the Switch or not. There is one more piece of info that will gladden those with EA Access memberships, and that is that you will be able to play Madden 18 for up to 10 hours starting on August 17. Good luck all!
