Saints had the chance to eliminate the Panthers by beating them on their home turf on Thursday Night Football. They were in an acceptable position in the division before that game, but now the Carolina Panthers have dragged them down, and both of those teams are in a bad place.
New Orleans offense is great at home, and the Superdome is still a big advantage for the Saints. Looking at the current situation we can agree that they are not in a great position in the division now, but this squad has nothing to lose. They are a bit better than people expected so this is a good result for them. Being still in play for a Playoff spot is a great proof of how good Drew Brees actually is.
Jared Goff had a decent outing in his first match. Rams were in a position to win that contest against the Dolphins but failed to close the game out. Now they are facing a tough task of beating the high-powered Saints offense on the road.
Goff should be able to have a good performance against this team. New Orleans was never known for having a good defense, especially this season. This is a perfect opponent for a rookie quarterback as he will get the chance to shine and show what he’s got.
Still, it won’t be enough for the Rams to get the win in this game. Both teams will put up some points on the board, and we are betting on Drew Brees to outscore the 1st overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. Saints will end up victorious with final score saying 33:21.
