Los Angeles Lakers are off to a great start. They were expected to be one of the worst teams in the NBA, but they have proven everybody wrong. Coach Luke Walton has done a great job with Lakers who are playing a great basketball allowing them to be effective.
It’s hard to say whether or not Lakers can keep this up, but their fans need to be happy with what they have been watching so far. Los Angeles company have the direction that they didn’t have in the past couple of seasons. A new system that they are trying to facilitate and that is the biggest positive for them this year, and we can look at it as the investment in the future.
New Orleans Pelicans won their first game of the season a couple of nights ago in Milwaukee. Now, they will be looking to ride that momentum and win some games against teams like the Los Angeles Lakers.
Anthony Davis is looking flat out unstoppable. It just doesn’t seem to matter if he gets the ball down low or on the perimeter. There is no stopping him. But, his teammates are not stepping up, they are not following him. The roster that Pelicans have put around him is embarrassing. The crew from New Orleans have one of the biggest talents in the NBA and are wasting him with the group of guys in which some shouldn’t even be playing NBA basketball.
Lakers are on a small roll as of late, but we just don’t see them stopping Davis on the road. Nobody on the Lakers can slow this man down. When you think about it, there is almost nobody on the planet that can do that. We are picking the Pelicans to win this duel 110:104 behind 40+ points from Anthony Davis.
