Longmire Season 6 Release Date and News

The fans of the popular TV series “Longmire” were absolutely heartbroken upon knowing that the series was about to be canceled without making its closure. Everyone was relieved when Netflix prevented that from happening. However, the news about the series’ next season was both pleasing and devastating, as it will be its last season.

By all odds, this final series’ season will be released this year, and it will contain 10 episodes. This means that first three seasons were spent on A&E while the rest of them on Netflix. This TV Show will, by the end of its Season 6, have 63 episodes in total.

The fans of the series are eager to know how the love story between Walt Longmire (Robert Taylor) and Vic Moretti (Katee Sackhoff) will unfold. The rumor has it that their bond will become stronger and even more emotional.

This was most likely something that series’ writers had pre-planned even in the Season 5, as they had Walt and Donna Monaghan (Ally Walker) broken up. If this would be the way the story goes, then it would be following the book on which the series is based on “Walt Longmire Mysteries” by Craig Johnson.

Longmire Season 6 Release Date

The release date of “Longmire” Season 6 hasn’t been officially confirmed, but we do expect it to come out in the fall of this year, on Netflix.
