The latest report says that Lil Wayne has been hospitalized after suffering an epileptic seizure in his Westin Hotel room. All this happened on Sunday afternoon in Chicago hotel after which he was found unconscious. Immediately after that, he was rushed to Northwestern Hospital, and it seems that he suffered another seizure there.
Chicago Tribune received confirmation from a representative of the Chicago Fire Department that famous artist was taken to the hospital. Unfortunately, this is not the first time that this is happening to Lil Wayne.
Earlier in 2013 rapper stayed in the hospital for six days and he also had issues on a flight in 2016. It is a known fact that he suffers from the neurological disorder and after one of those incidents, he talked about it.

In an interview with Power 106 L.A. radio station, he talked about his problems and how it is to live with epilepsy. This all came out in 2013 when he scared many of his fans.
On that occasion, he said: “This isn’t my first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh seizure. I’ve had a bunch of seizures, y’all just never hear about them.”
Lil Wayne was scheduled to perform at Drai’s Nightclub as a part of his tour with Rae Sremmurd. The Las Vegas event was scheduled for September 3, but soon after that, the club posted an announcement in which they are saying that the performance will be canceled. T.I. and DJ Franzen will be performing on that date.
Here is the statement from the club: “Our priority is the health and well-being of our artists. Everyone at Drai’s wishes Lil Wayne a speedy recovery during this time.”
