CraveTV is reaping the benefits of Season 1 which is currently being shown on this channel.
“LETTERKENNY continues to be a leading performer in the CraveTV lineup, and so as we finalize Season 2 launch plans, we are delivering a Season 3 pick-up now to capitalize on the incredible momentum oozing from this amazing production team,” states Mike Cosentino. The series has achieved a great success while receiving a positive criticism as well as support from many fans worldwide. For this reason, it came as no surprise that the series will be having its Season 3.
If we take a look at results and scores on IMDB, Letterkenny has got 8.6 out of 10, based on 900 votes of the users and 12 reviews in total.
According to BellMedia:
“Letterkenny revolves around the dustups that Wayne (Keeso) and his buds get into with their small-town Ontario rivals. There’s the Hicks, the Skids and the Hockey Players, who get at each other about the most mundane things, often ending with someone getting their a*s kicked.”
The first season of the series premiered on February 7, 2016, and it was instantly well received. Having managed to achieve such a success, the producers continued with the show so that the Season 2 will premiere on CraveTV sometime this year. The same television has taken over the series and announced its Season 3, before having Season 2 premiered, but we are still waiting for some official announcements.
