The release of “Left 4 Dead 2” came out a long time ago and there have been no signs of its next installment for quite some time.
However, some information regarding the next sequel leaked on the Internet and the rumors have it that it is coming up very soon, to many fans’ delight.
Firstly, we’ll see what we know about its release date.
If we are to believe the leaks and rumors, the launch of the next sequel should happen before the end of this year. But as Valve has not given any official announcement whatsoever, it is predicted to take place most likely during 2017.
Valve and Turtle Rock Studios were at the helm of the first and the second Left 4 Dead. The leave-taking between the two was a consequence of Turtle Rock Studios wanting to work on its own game- Evolve.
Secondly, Left 4 Dead 3 is said to be enabled for different platforms, arriving on Xbox One, PS4 and PC, at the same time.
When it comes to the characters of the new installment, besides the old one’s that include Coach, Ellis, Nick, and Rochelle, it is reported that the game will encompass three male and one female character additionally:
24-year old Caucasian Katherine, comic book nerd Keenan, black gangster Irvin and famous Kenpo fighter Garrett Jr.
The time setting of the new sequel will be taking place one month before the time setting of the Left 4 Dead 2. So, we will be slightly returned back in time.
The six campaigns that will be included are Crashland, Impasse, Inquisitor Land, Early Destination, Cliff Hanger and No Mercy.
Another novelty that is said to be the part of the next sequel is that each character will be enabled to carry one item only.
