LeBron James has been quite unhappy with his team and with the team’s performance in the month of January. His squad has the losing record in a single month for the first time since 2010. The frustration is mounting for King James as he is still looking for the Cavs to add another playmaker to the team. A lot of guys are injured, and aging LeBron realizes that his championship window is closing.
Charles Barkley has had a lot of things to say about LeBron recent comments about the front office really not giving him a lot to work with even though the Cleveland Cavaliers have the biggest payroll in NBA history. All the major players from last season are there, and Sir Charles felt that LeBron has been a bit disrespectful to the Cavaliers. Well, LeBron responded to TNT’s analyst and former NBA legend. He didn’t hold back at all.
“He’s a hater. What makes what he says credible,” LeBron James questioned. “Because he’s on TV? I’m not going to let him disrespect my legacy like that. I’m not the one who threw somebody through a window. I never spit on a kid. I never had unpaid debt in Las Vegas. I never said ‘I’m not a role model’.”
“I never showed up to All-Star Weekend on Sunday because I was in Vegas all weekend partying. All I’ve done for my whole career is represent the NBA the right way. Fourteen years, never got in trouble. Respected the game. Print that. I collected one paycheck for this. There’s the owner, Griff’s (David Griffin) is the GM, and I’m the player. Scr*w Charles Barkley,” King James ended the statement.
