We all know by now that The Rock is one of the best in the gym. The man puts in the work each and every day early in the morning. Everybody knows him being a true gym warrior. It’s fair to say that he is an idol to a lot of youngsters who train all over the world.
One of the people that followed his methods is Lakers’ wing, Kyle Kuzma. He went under the radar during the 2017 NBA draft as he was picked 27th overall, but he turned some heads throughout the year, which earned him a spot in the all-rookie first team at the end of the season.
Even though Lonzo was the hyped rookie before the season began, Kuzma did show that he was a better player after averaging a bit over 16 points per game on 45% shooting from the field and 36% from downtown.
The Lakers didn’t make the Playoffs this year for the fifth year in a row, so Kuzma’s offseason began a bit earlier than he would have liked.
That gave him a chance to have a head start when it comes to his preparations for the next campaign. He used his Instagram account to thank The Rock on these new gains that he has been making ever since the season had ended.
His post didn’t go unnoticed by Dwayne Johnson as he responded to young Lakers’ player on his Twitter account. Packing on muscle is what The Rock does, and Kyle Kuzma has clearly been following all the tips and trick that Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle star has in his bag. Kuzma has a nice frame to fill out, so we can’t even imagine how good is he going to look after a couple of years of hard work in the gym with the NBA coaches. That boy is going to be a beast.
