Kurt Angle has wanted to come back to the WWE for a while, but in order to do so, he will need to sign a contract. The WWE greeted him on his birthday via social media, so could this imply that his return to the WWE is inevitable? His professional career started in the WWE, but it ended in 2006, after which he signed a deal with TNA Wrestling. During that period, he was the WWE champion for six times, so he had a successful career without a doubt.
Although he has been in TNA for a long time, we all remember Angle when he performed in the WWE. He has said so many times so far, that his wish is to finish his career as a WWE wrestler. In one interview he said that he and Triple H had had a close conversation about making peace and also that he might return next year or in 2018.
“If I went back to WWE, most likely it would be next year or the year after. I did talk to Triple H a few months ago, a very loose conversation. They have interest. I have interest. They don’t know what to do with me yet,” Angle said.
According to The Inquisitr, he might be the pre-order exclusive character for WWE 2k18. However, what is most likely is that we will see him as a surprise entrant at the 2017 Royal Rumble. We would certainly like to see Angle back in the WWE at least for a short period of time. How about you?
