Keys For The Green Bay Packers Against The Falcons

Championship Sunday is coming pretty soon. Two great matchups with four great teams that have four great offenses and four of the best quarterbacks in the game. And, the Super Bowl berth is on the line. It doesn’t get much better than that. It’s safe to say that the Green Bay Packers are the most unlikely crew to get to the Super Bowl as they are hobbled and banged up.

Still, they will have a shot against Atlanta. In order to beat their favored rivals, they need to do a couple of things. First of all, they need to get to the quarterback and put some pressure on Matt Ryan. Packers secondary is pretty awful right now, Clinton-Dix is their best player there while their best corner that is available, Morgan Brunette, is banged up as well and will be limited.

That means that their respectable defensive ends and linebackers need to put some pressure on Matt Ryan and stop the two-headed running attack of the Atlanta Falcons.

Packers’ wide receiver situation is pretty bad right now as Jordy Nelson, Davante Addams and Geronimo Allison are going to be less than 100%. Coach Mike McCarthy has even stated that is if this was a regular season game, these players would likely miss this duel. But, it’s the Playoffs and the season is on the line in each and every match.

With these guys not being able to perform at their best, others need to step up and help Aaron Rodgers. Guys that we are looking at are Randal Cobb, Jeff Janis, and Richard Rodgers.

Rodgers will need a lot of help in this one from these guys, and this is just going to have to be a collective effort from Packers’ wideouts if Green Bay wants to get back to the Super Bowl.
