Another interesting game in the first week of this season. The Kansas City Chiefs are waiting for the San Diego Chargers, and we know that in the previous season Chiefs managed to take both wins. It is good to see that weather prognosis are nice this time as the last year match on Arrowhead Stadium was played in disaster-like conditions.
All the way back in Week 5 Jamaal Charles suffered an injury that put him out of the game, and many hoped to see him back for this season opener, but it seems that this might not happen. We could hear statements that he might need slightly more time for the full recovery, but we will know it for sure when the game begins.
Philip Rivers comes to the match with a lot of confidence and even their previous season wasn’t that good he thinks that they might be far better this time and everything starts with this game. Chargers led by Rivers are hoping to be one of the top teams in the division and even to take it, but can they do it?
Travis Benjamin and Keenan Allen will be the main targets of the Philip Rivers, and they will need to be very quick on the field because Chiefs have something waiting for them. Steven Nelson and Marcus Peters are cornerbacks that will be chasing Chargers pass-catchers. Both of these young players are certainly looking to prove themselves in action.
When it comes to Kansas City Chiefs Starting quarterback Alex Smith, it is clear that they have a lot of success whenever he is leading the charge. They have 30-16 in his starts, and he led the team in two playoffs in his three seasons story with Chiefs.

He can make plays with his feet. That’s the one thing that’ll drive you nuts with him. You think you’ve got great coverage, and all of a sudden, you’re undisciplined in the run lanes, and all of sudden, there he goes.”
What do we think? Well, Kansas City Chiefs will win. Anything else would be a huge surprise.
