Jacksonville Jaguars have had a bye week and had a lot of time to prepare for Chicago Bears. They won their last game against the Colts in London, but they really don’t have that momentum going as they haven’t played for two weeks. Can they win in Chicago?
Bears are most likely done with Jay Cutler. It’s not that Bryan Hoyer is their future quarterback, but he is performing much better than the starting signal caller. It seems that Hoyer will take over. Howard has also been balling for this squad as he is running the ball effectively. He should be able to carry the ball against the Jags as their defense is just horrid. Can’t get anything done on that side of the ball.
Blake Bortles has been decent but failed to impress to start the season. His offense hasn’t performed as well as they should have. They have too much firepower at the wide receiver position to be ranked as low as they are. Now, they are coming to Chicago to face a team that has played some competitive football under new QB Bryan Hoyer.
This match is yet another really tough to pick duel. On the one hand, we haven’t seen Jags play in a while, and we don’t know whether or not they will give enough for this game and perform the way they can. We also have Bears squad that haven’t been consistent all season long, but they are playing on their home field. Still, we are going to pick Jacksonville in this one. This football team is better than their record shows, and they will prove that on Sunday with 27:24 win over the Bears.
