Even though the Dallas Cowboys were just as good on the road as at home over these last couple of seasons, there is no doubt that they like playing at a stadium like the one Jerry Jones built in Arlington, TX. A home court advantage is always a good thing to have, and those teams are usually favored when two squads on the same skill level meet. There are eight home matchups for every team, just like every season, and we are going to take a look at Dallas’ most interesting game at AT&T Stadium.
A game against Giants in Week 1 is for sure going to be a big one for a couple of reasons. First of all, it is a season opener for the team, and they will be looking to take down the New York Football Giants right away, revenging one of the two losses that they suffered last season. Second, it is a divisional rival that they are playing, in a prime-time Sunday Night Football National TV slot.
There is also that match against the Seahawks in late December, their last game at home which can decide the rankings in the NFC. Seattle should be one of the best teams in the conference yet again, so this contest will be the one to watch as well.
But, their most interesting home game this season is going to be the one against Green Bay Packers and that man, Aaron Rodgers. Everybody will be looking to see whether or not the Cowboys can avenge their big Playoff loss that happened in January. Two of the best teams in the NFL will square off in that Week 5 matchup. It should be one of the best duels all year in the league.
