Evan Blass, also known as @evleaks posted a picture of curved-screen Huawei Mate 9 on his Twitter profile. He had presented the standard model couple of days ago. The color of both models will be lilac hue and he also declared that the new phone will be called Mate 9 Pro.
The first thing we notice on the photo is that a headphone jack is missing from the top. This can indicate that the new model will use USB Type-C port for headphones or wireless ones. The USB Type-C port is located on the bottom of the device.
On the rear end, a Leica-branded dual-camera will be located. Unlike the present model which has one speaker grille, the new model will be equipped with one more. However, we are not sure because one grille may be inserted in there just for better looks. The Mate 9 should come out with a 6-inch Full HD display and a Kirin 960 chipset. However, some differences are possible regarding the display between the two models.
Android 7.0 Nougat will be in both curved-screen Long Island and flat-screen Manhattan. In addition, both phones are expected to have very similar specs and characteristics. The official launch of the phone is scheduled for November 3, 2016.
