There is no better treat on Monday Night than a game between two teams that both need the win in order to support their Postseason aspirations. Two divisional leaders in the AFC will meet in Oakland on Sunday, and one of them is going to fall and complicate their lives in the divisional chase. The prevailing squad, on the other hand, will feel pretty good about their situation as their main goal is near.
There is no doubt about the fact that Raiders need this win more. They are playing in a tough division with Chiefs and the Broncos, so every game is crucial for them. Right now, they are tied with KC for the first place as they have a 7-2 record, while the Broncos are right behind them with 7-3 and a bye week coming. Chiefs got the tiebreaker right now, but Raiders and Kansas City will meet again this season.
Texans are in a tight race as well, but not because they have equally good rivals, it’s because hey have equally mediocre competitors in their division. Titans and Colts are right behind Houston, with them having to visit Colts this season and with Indy having a much easier matchup in Week 11 than the one that Texans have.
Brock Osweiler has struggled this year. He is going to have a decent performance against the Raiders, but we just can’t trust him at this point of the season. On the other hand, Derek Carr has been nothing short of sensational till now, but he needs to continue finding his weapons and making plays in order for his crew to reach the postseason. They are in a good spot but need to push that pedal to the metal and keep winning. Texans are no match for this team right now, and that’s why we are picking Raiders to end up victorious with the scoreboard showing 28:17.
