Last year when Giants played the Saints they suffered a defeat. But, that was not just a regular game. It was a game in which defenses gave up over 1000 yards combined and a game that ended in 52-49 Saints victory.
Can you imagine the celebration of the Saints in the locker room? All players celebrating, including defenders, even though they gave up 49 points in that game. Well, Giants revamped defense shouldn’t allow the Saints to score nearly as many points this time around. On the other hand, New Orleans defense is just as bad if not even worse this season.
Eli Manning should thrive on Sunday against this Saints team as he is going up against one of the worst defenses that you will ever see. And he has all of his teammates available to him. Odell Beckham Jr, Victor Cruz, and Sterling Shepard will have a field day against this New Orleans’ team.
Giants’ QB is one of the best fantasy options this week, and he should be able to throw for at least 3 Touchdowns. New York is going to put up 35+ points on these Saints thus making Eli look like an elite Quarterback. He was decent against the Cowboys, but this is his week and his time to shine.
Saints’ defense has two rookie corners in the starting lineup. Yikes. Expect another high-scoring game, but this time, Giants should end up with the win, and Eli should look like a Top 5 signal caller in the league, which he is not under normal circumstances.
