Now was this any surprise at all? We don’t think so. This will be just another year in which Witten will put the PRO in Pro Bowl. This guy is simply remarkable and relentless. Thank the dear Lord he decided to scrap the idea of retirement and returned for more action by placing his initials on the four-year extension through 2024. Many out there were expecting for him to ease up and lose his pace, but he showed them that there is a lot more fire left in him by almost matching his performance in yardage from 2016 and blowing past his career-high in touchdowns. Most of you probably wonder why isn’t he one of the locks, and there is a simple answer to that – people love young blood and Witten is just far away from that.
