We are making these predictions every single week and keep thinking that Green Bay Packers are going to get it all together and put on a good all-around performance. Well, that still hasn’t happened, and we are having less confidence in this team as each round passes. They have a tough task on their hands this Sunday Night as they will visit the Redskins in Washington.
This will be the rematch of last year’s Wild Card Playoff game in which Aaron Rodgers and his Packers came into the Nation’s Capital and got the job done after trailing early in that duel. Packers weren’t favored then, and are not favored now to win, it’s simple as that.
Washington, just like Green Bay, is still battling for a Playoff spot. NFC East is just as tight as the NFC North, but with four teams that don’t have losing records. Packers can still win their division thanks to the bad performances of the Vikings, but this is also a huge game because both of these squads might have to turn to Wild Card spots in order to make the Playoffs.
Knocking off your direct rival for that Wild Card spot is a great achievement at this point of the season, and that is why we will have a good game. Both of these teams are not known for their defenses, so we expect a big-time shootout in this duel.
It’s going to be a tight match. Even though Washington is favored to win this one, we are not going to write off Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers. Surprisingly, it’s still not too late for them to turn things around, conquer the division and start off fresh in the postseason while playing their best football. In order for that to happen, they need to get the job done on the road in Washington. We think Aaron Rodgers will lead his crew to a 35:30 victory on Sunday Night.
