Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers said that Packers could run the table and get to the Playoffs while going undefeated for the rest of the regular season. It’s hard to believe that it will happen, but we can’t count out Aaron Rodgers. He is that talented, and if someone is capable of running the table, it would be him.
Green Bay Packers gave a lot of new hope to their fans with this huge victory in Philly. The first step of going undefeated for the rest of the way was to beat the Eagles. Aaron Rodgers got the job done, and Packers won that game 27:13.
Packers’ signal caller went 30/39 for 313 passing yards and two scores without throwing a pick. Green Bay’s running game is still suspect, but the good sign was that Devante Adams came alive yesterday. He was supposed to be a big part of Packers’ receiving core this season and going forward. Well, he did have a breakout game as he finished with five catches for 113 yards and two touchdowns.
Even with this win, Green Bay is still trailing behind Vikings and Lions. With that being said, they still have a lot of time to catch both of these teams. Yes, the Green Bay Packers haven’t been great this season, but the Lions and Vikings are also two beatable squads.
The current situation in NFC North is that Lions are first with a 7-4 score and are being closely trailed by Vikings that are at 6-5. With the latest victory of Packers, they are now at 5-6 and have a decent chance to catch up on both Lions and Vikings especially since they will be playing them in last two rounds. Packers could get on the roll and make the Playoffs while also winning the division. You just don’t bet against Aaron Rodgers.
