Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) (NASDAQ:GOOG) the internet giant has come up with a new AdWords tool known as the Website Call Conversions. Using this tool the advertisers will be able to able to identify and measure calls from their website that occur after an ad click.
New tool from Google helpful in figuring keywords
Google informed that it has observed that it’s a common practice among the customers to first go through an ad by clicking over and thereafter making the call to the said business. Clicking through an add offers an insight into the portfolio of goods and services offered by any particular business hence the customers prefer this way of shopping.
According to Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) (NASDAQ:GOOG), a majority of 70% mobile searchers prefer to make direct calls to businesses from the search ads. The company offers various services with AdWords such as click-to-call ads, call metrics, and calls as conversions. These services help the advertisers track the buyer behavior of calling businesses directly from the search ads. The new AdWord tool is designed in particular for those calls made by customers after they have navigated to the website of the company.
The data collected by the marketers can be carefully analyzed for figuring out those keywords and ads that are responsible for driving the maximum number of phone calls.
Different pages, contribute differently
A website comprises of several pages and all the pages are not equally effective at converting visitors. Hence, it becomes a necessity to track those pages that are contributing most, which is made possible with the new facility offered by Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) (NASDAQ:GOOG) that assigns different values to calls originating from different pages.
The marketers need to place a code on their desktop or mobile site, and then they can measure website calls. The marketers will be able to capture the future call conversions using this number which for up to 90 days will remain on display. Google forwarding numbers facility is available in Australia, France, Germany, Spain, the UK and the US only. Hence, Website Call Conversions are also available in these countries only.
