There have been some indications, rumors and badmouthing, but none of us took it really seriously until now. Apparently, this has been going on for a while, and it has reached its inevitable impasse. Brad and Angelina are getting a divorce.
We believe that some of you may be shocked, but what we didn’t know is that their very famous friend will be this shocked about their divorce. George Clooney, 55, was on Leaders Summit for Refugees at UN General Assembly, which took place on Tuesday. After the summit, he was interviewed by a CNN reporter and asked to comment on what is going on regarding the divorce of the actors mentioned above. After the question, he was clearly shocked and surprised because apparently, he didn’t know what was going on between those two. He stated “What happened?”, “I didn’t know that. I feel very sorry then. That’s a sad story and unfortunate for a family. It’s an unfortunate story about a family. I feel very sorry to hear that.”, and at the very end, he added: “This is the first I’ve heard of it.”
If you didn’t know, Clooney and Brad are long lasting friends, they know each other for a decade at least, well ever since the first movie Ocean’s Eleven in 2001 and carried through the entire trilogy to 2007, and more on the set of 2008’s Burn After Reading. This probably is why Clooney looked so shocked on the interview, and because he found out for the first time from the media.
After that Clooney and his wife Amal were seen walking around holding hands during and post the UN summit. Those two are due to celebrate their two year wedding anniversary sometime this month. They are also caught showing their commitment to each other by holding hands during the Refugee summit and made a promise to help ease that crisis as much as humanly possible.
