These times are tough for Ezekiel Elliott and the Dallas Cowboys. Their star player is in trouble, and they are figuring out how to deal with this situation in which they have found themselves over the past couple of days. Right now, they are preparing for what the future might hold, and they are getting ready to make some moves that they wouldn’t need to if Elliott weren’t in this situation.
He is facing a possible suspension and might miss a first week or two. Maybe even more as nobody really knows what is going on with this NFL investigation that they are doing. We do know that the Dallas Cowboys are standing by their star running back as he, along with the quarterback Dak Prescott, is the future of the franchise.
Team’s head coach Jason Garrett just wanted to make sure that everybody knows Cowboys are still feeling very strong about Ezekiel Elliott and what he brings to the squad, even though he is in a bit of trouble right now. Here is what coach had to say about his back.
“I don’t want to make any comment on the situation. We’re still gathering information on what the situation was, Garret said on Wednesday, according to NFL Network’s reporter Jane Slater. “Zeke’s someone we believe very strongly in as a person and as a football player. We will continue to believe in him and try to put a structure around him and all of our players to help them make great decisions and grow.”
It is safe to say that this is not only how coach Jason Garrett feels about Elliott, but the whole team and the franchise. There is no doubt that ‘Boys are going to back up their star running back as he fits well into their plans for the future.
