Embrace yourselves as Galaxy Note 8 is coming out next month. DJ Koh, Samsung mobile chief, revealed to Taiwan reporters that they will introduce the new Note device in August, according to Taiwanese outlet ePrice.
Koh didn’t exactly say the precise release date and venue of introduction. However, rumor has it that it could be August 23rd or August 26th, in New York. That is what fits best with Koh’s schedule.
Additionally, CEO of the company said to the reporters that the Note 8 would start selling from September throughout October, depending on the country. Although Koh didn’t disclose exactly which countries would get to see the phone first, based on the past Samsung releases (like the Galaxy S8), we expect a similar order of launching. Previously we could notice that the US and Samsung’s home market South Korea were the first ones comparing to other countries of the world.
There have been other times that Samsung head of mobile has officially mentioned the Galaxy Note 8. In January, in an interview with CNET, Koh said that there would be a Note 8 and that it would be “innovative” regardless of the fiasco after launching Note 7. Despite the fact that Galaxy S8 flagship sold without reoccurring the Note 7’s battery fires, it seems that the Note 8 is the first opportunity for Samsung to scratch out bad views of the Note 7.
This launching in August could mean that the Note 8 reveal will be in the lead, compared to its competitors, such as LG, which is awaited to launch the LG V30 on August 31, and Apple, with its next iPhone expected in September.
