When it comes to the Cruiserweight division, nobody has done a better job in representing it than the current champion and the King Of The Cruiserweights, Neville. He was once considered as a guy that can never succeed as a heel because of his attractive skill set. Now, he is one of the best at his job as his heel persona is shining on Monday Night Raw and 205 Live.
This wrestler has done such a great job with the title that it is hard to imagine him without it. Neville is the best thing that could have happened to this division, and they are lucky to have him on board.
At first, he really didn’t have a rival that the fans could look at and think that he can be a legit contender for Neville’s title. Putting Austin Aries in this division was the right move as now he is somebody that can challenge Neville and probably be the one to take the title off of the King Of The Cruiserweights.
These two had their second match at the Payback pay per view in what was yet another good performance by both superstars. The original plan for this duel was for Neville to go over Double-A, but the officials decided that it is not a good idea for the champion to go over a babyface challenger two times in a row, so they concluded that the DQ finish was the best way for this battle to end.
This feud is not over, and we will likely see another fight between these two at Extreme Rules. The one thing that the fans can look for is TJP maybe entering this feud as he has been involved with both of these superstars in a storyline so this match can always become a triple threat battle for the title at next Raw branded PPV event.
