Jonathan Groff just recently revealed something that made us very happy. We could hear him saying that he has a certain animated movie coming up, and it will come sooner than anyone expects. To those who do not know, he is the actor who voiced Kristoff in Frozen, and he just revealed that he is ready to start recording voice work for Frozen 2, the long-awaited sequel to the original movie. According to this guy, it is just a few more weeks until Frozen 2 gets off of the ground.
Groff stated “I think I just got an email yesterday where I’m about to go into the recording studio in a couple of weeks, or maybe a month? They’re about to really get into the thick of recording it, which I’m excited about. I don’t know anything about it yet other than I’m about to start recording my section of it.” This, of course, comes just a few months after Disney official confirmed that Frozen 2 would finally be getting off the ground. They have been working on the sequel from 2015 and from that time it had a lot of setbacks. Although the script has been done long ago, Kristen Bell confirmed it, nothing actually went forward for Frozen 2. Thankfully a couple of months everyone received confirmation that Frozen 2 is a go and that it will hit theaters on November 27th, 2019.
As we managed to find out, Disney will, to mitigate the waiting time, release a short Frozen spin-off called Olaf’s Frozen Adventure. This one will surely spark up the interest of fans all around and bring the hype about the Frozen sequel to the next level undoubtedly. Apparently, Olaf’s Frozen Adventure will take place during the holiday season and will feature Olaf trying to find the perfect holiday tradition to share with his new family. Of course, trusty reindeer Sven will also be in tow.
Frozen 2 still is miles away but thanks to the short movie Olaf’s Frozen Adventure we will have something to enjoy until it gets in theaters near us. What will also have a task of speeding the wait time for the Disney audience is the new Cars 3 and Disney/Marvel’s joint venture Spider-Man: Homecoming, which is already out and entertaining families all around. Make sure to be close for any changes and info that might pop up during this Frozen 2 waiting period.
