Company is Conducting a Search for a CFO and Appoints Nancy Bush as Interim CFO
SUNNYVALE, Calif. – November 27, 2013 – Fortinet® (NASDAQ: FTNT) – a leader in high-performance network security – today announced that Nancy Bush has been appointed as the Company’s Interim Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Bush is replacing Ahmed Rubaie, who will be departing as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer for personal reasons. Mr. Rubaie will remain employed with Fortinet until December 5, 2013 and will also remain available on a reasonable basis through March 5, 2014 to respond to inquiries to assist with the transition. Ms. Bush has served as Vice President and Worldwide Corporate Controller of Fortinet since December 2011. Ms. Bush also served as Interim Chief Financial Officer of Fortinet from September 2012 to April 2013. Prior to Fortinet, Ms. Bush held senior finance roles at ArcSight, Inc., Packeteer, Inc. and Maxtor Corporation. Fortinet has a search underway for a replacement for the Chief Financial Officer position, and, separately, a search for a senior operations executive.
