The company decided to push Finn Balor straight to the top from the moment that he made his main roster debut. He won the number one contender tournament for the WWE Universal Championship and then went on to ace and beat Seth Rollins for the title at the Summerslam pay per view. But, during the match, he suffered an injury that is still keeping him out of the WWE ring. He relinquished his title and went into rehab.
It seems that time for his return is pretty near as he is scheduled to make his in-ring debut at the WWE Live Event in Buffalo, New York on March 10th at the KeyBank Center. Balor has also been added to events in Tronto, Ontario on March 11th, the White Plains event in New York on March 26th and the WWE European Tour in May.
This guy appeared to be in great shape at last week’s NXT tapings when he got physical with Bobby Roode when he came to the aid of Nakamura. This was probably set up for doctors to see how Balor is looking and what he is able and unable to do.
All of this means that Finn could show up on Monday Night Raw and make his official return next week after the Fastlane PPV. If the company has him on their Wrestlemania card, they will have him appear on either that show or maybe at the pay per view itself.
It is great to hear that this wrestler is coming back to the ring as we know what he can do. On top of that, it is clear that the company wants to push him even further and we can agree with them on this.
