Produced by Pilgrim Studios, Fast and Loud debuted in 2012 on Discovery Channel. It was after the first season already that this unusual reality TV Show became highly popular, mostly among men, which could be expected based on its content. After it had been so well-received, they went on making new episodes, so today there are 12 seasons and over 100 episodes of the show. It also inspired a spin-off series titled Misfit Garage which premiered only two years after the original show release. Craig Piligian (My Big Fat Fabulous Life), Eddie Rohwedder and Craig Coffman did an excellent job as the executive producers of the so far released seasons, the last of which (Season 12) premiered in January this year.
In case you haven’t watched Fast and Loud, here’s a brief overview. The series follows Richard Rawlings and Aaron Kaufman, the two stars of this show, in their search for run-down cars that they can restore later for a profit. More often than not, the result of their work is more than amazing, as it is really hard to believe that they manage to save some vehicles that were found all rusty and not even drivable. Their works of art are created in Gas Monkey Garage in Dallas, Texas, where Rawlings and Kaufman work with their crew.
All of you who have watched the show will probably agree when we say that these two really make a dream team. However, it seems that, from now on, we will have to make peace with the fact that this dream team does not exist anymore. Unfortunately, Kaufman has recently confirmed that he will not be there for Season 13. You should not worry about the Fast and Loud Season 13 cancellation – there is no doubt that the show will be renewed for the new season. It just remains to be seen how Rawlings is going to make up for Kaufman’s absence. As for the exact release date of the upcoming season, it’s still too early to tell when exactly we can expect it. As soon as we find out more about the release, we will let you know, so stay tuned for more details.
