According to the reports from Moviefone, Vin Diesel claims that the latest sequel of the famous movie “Fast and Furious” is Oscar-worthy. As it is stated in the reports, the actor spoke to Entertainment Tonight and said that the new movie has a very dark tone.
In addition, he added that his character, Dominic Toretto will shock the audience. Also, he praised F. Gary Gray and said:”He is definitely going to get his comeuppance … He should’ve really been acknowledged for ‘Straight Outta Compton'”.
He also declared:” “I think he went into making this movie with a little bit of a chip on his shoulder, going ‘Oh, really? OK. Now I’m going to take the biggest saga in the world, and I’m about to throw Oscars at you.’ Wait until you see what he does!”
Although Vin Diesel is confident that the movie will win the most prestigious award in the world, we are not so sure whether F. Gary Gray will be able to turn the eight part of the movie into a masterpiece. But if somebody can do it, this director can.
We believe that the next sequel will be a great movie and it may win Oscars for visual effects, sound or some other movie aspect. As far as the award for the best film is concerned, the smartest thing to do is wait and see.
