Every sane person would put their money on Eagles’ offense breaking down due to the absence of Carson Wentz one week ago, but their good defense carried the team into January. Now we’re contemplating a Schwartz-led combination that gave up almost 500 yards passing to a 36-year-old Eli Manning on a Giants roster that lacked Odell Beckham. On top of everything, Schwartz is under a lot of pressure to steer the ship in the right direction quickly. But we have some good news. If the Eagles win against the awful Raiders contingent, they will secure home-field advantage. That could also happen if Vikings lose. There is some light at the end of the tunnel.
