Ezekiel Elliott Ran All Over Packers And Their Rush Defense

There was a lot of talk about Packers’ rush defense before this game in Green Bay. They were one of the best squads against the run as they were allowing only 42,5 yards to opponents running backs per game. Well, that was against teams that didn’t have great number one running backs.

Dallas has one, and he ran all over the Packers. They just haven’t played against the Cowboy offensive line and a running back like Ezekiel Elliot. He is NFL’s leading rusher, and he was unstoppable for the 4th straight week. The only difference was that this time, it was the Packers who couldn’t stop him.

He didn’t record a touchdown today, but that is no big deal. When Dallas was close to the end zone, they decided to put the ball in the hands of Dak Prescott, and he did deliver. Still, Ezekiel had a great game with 157 rushing yards on 28 attempts and the longest run of 29 yards. That resulted in 5,7 yards per carry which is always a good thing to see. He was also active in the passing game as he finished the game with two catches for 17 yards. Not a bad day in the office for Cowboys’ rookie.

While he continues to lead the league in rushing, Cowboys just keep winning. They have the best offensive line in the game, and they are staying true to what they do best. Run the football. As long as they do that, they will remain in good shape going forward.
